Explore Summer Programs presents an awesome opportunity for your child to widen horizons, make new and lasting friends, and discover new strengths. After all, you wouldn’t be considering our programs if you didn’t think it would add substantially to your child’s growth and development.

Our programs can help your child learn to build a robot, learn to draw, enjoy science and math, or practice reading skills through drama. Actually, Explore Summer Programs will help your child improve a skill in just about any area. The true payoff of this experience will be apparent when your child comes home more self-reliant, self-sufficient, and self-confident.

5   Link   UWF Holodeck
This 985 square foot space provides for a 3-D, interactive, virtual world in which students can become characters that represent themselves in a virtual world. 3-D immersion cube and simulator technologies are already used in military, government, medicine, psychology, industry and networked entertainment programs, but its is fairly new to higher education. Image the benefits of enabling electrical engineering students to immerse themselves in electrical infrastructure installations, physics students to travel and experience the vastness of the cosmos, nanoengineering students to experience forces at the molecular level of a biochip, and construction engineers to be onsite as they validate design concepts prior to construction. (See calendar for dates open to public.)
