How to add your group, co-op or resource to this site.

First, please only add local, physical groups to the Local Homeschool Groups Database. All other groups should be added to the Online Groups.
Go to http://pensacolalifehomeschool.com/. You'll need to register (keeps spammers from adding stuff). You will probably have to check your email for a message from the website, click on the link to activate your registration and go the the site to log in. Click on ADD LOCAL GROUP GROUP, then click on ADD ENTRY. Put your information in and choose up to 5 categories to have your group in. This will help when someone searches for a specific kind of group. The more categories the better. Also be specific as you can but since most groups change from year to year or even month to month don't be too specific unless you absolutely want to limit your group to a specific age group or whatever. Please be sure to click on send! Your group won't show up right away because I will have to approve it first. Please click on READ MORE now!
Also, you can do the same thing for co-ops. I am making a separate heading for that but it will be the same database. There also won't be an ADD Co-op button because it's not necessary. The two group buttons actually go to the exact same page but I thought it would be more clear that way. Just be sure to choose categories that fit.
You can also add online groups and area activities and such. Those things will be in a different kind of database. You also have to be logged in to add these links or information. Once logged in you will see the User Menu. Click on Submit Article or Submit LInk. If you don't have a link for the resource you want to add you can send the information to me and I will add it to the AREA ACTIVITIES/EVENTS-NO LINKS section. I'm working on adding a calendar that you will be able to add it to but it isn't cooperating with me yet. Once this is working you will be able to add local information like museums, parks, classes, etc yourself. Another option is to post the information as an article. You could do both. Try to give as much information about what you are adding as possible without being too wordy. Something I am not very good at! Select a category that it fits in best and save. If there isn't an appropriate category please let me know what category you'd like me to add and I'll do it. I'd rather have it in a good category so that people can find it!
Please be sure to share this site with any and all homeschoolers you know so that if they have anything to add or know someone else that might want to add something, etc.! I'll pass it around to a few groups but sometimes I'm afraid that people think I'm just spamming them. :-) I'm not trying to. Just trying to make something happen!
